Regional NSW producer Kuren set the bar pretty damn high with his breakaway single “Home” ft. Ben Alessi cracking it big time and taking out the 2016 National Indigenous Music Awards. However it seems that the headstrong producer has continued to set his goals amongst the stars, with what most would consider an ambitious one; a remix for an international artist.
Like I said, most would consider that a tough goal.
Clearly not Kuren.
The first month of 2017 isn’t even over yet and Kuren has just dropped a remix for Canadian alt-pop idols / headliners of this year’s Sydney LGBTQI Mardi Gras, Tegan and Sara, and their newbie “Stop Desire“. The rework uses the crisp pop vocal not-too-dissimilar to the aforementioned Ben Alessi and twists the track into a chill trap edit with a bit of a kick.
If you’re only just discovering Kuren and just went from 0 – 10 on the fanboy-o-meter, then you’re in luck. He’s currently doing a sale on his merch – check it out here.
