What the actual fuck.
Chicago-native producer Whethan has just dropped a fkn ~savage~ future-trap track, with this incredible emotive dark-pop topline from MAX. Oh, and it also features additional production from dubstep superstars Flux Pavilion. So that’s pretty cool.
It’s crazy good. If you haven’t started listening to it yet, you fucked up, go click play right now.
The track came out via the “White Label” imprint of parent-company Big Beat Records which is home to bloody massive acts such as Jack Ü, Galantis, David Guetta, Dog Blood plus homegrown expats Knife Party. Sitting amongst names like those, it’d be a fair call to place Whethan in the ‘ones to watch’ category.
As I write this, currently on my 9th consecutive listen to the track, I can say with confidence that there is a dark horse threatening to take out the deeply-personal title of ‘best track of 2016’ and it goes by the name of “Savage“.
