It’s been over a year since we’ve heard any completely new music from Australian trap and bass producer Spenda C, but it’s not been in vain.
There is a Spenda C album coming.
The first track off said debut album has just dropped and it goes by the name of “Release” featuring the vocals of Cult Shøtta.
The western-Sydney rappers spoke of their meeting, recalling that “Spenda C and I first met online after finding each other’s music on social media. We both had massive love and respect for each other on a musical level, but also on a personal level so we clicked straight away. After a few months, Spenda invited me to perform at one of his shows in Sydney. We instantly become homies after I introduced him to the beautiful world of Fat Lamb (shout out Fat Lamb Ginger Beer), so it was only natural for us to collaborate on a track and Release is the result.”
NEST HQ even picked up on the track, comparing the production to the heavy-weight heights “of folks like Major Lazer and DJ Snake“.
In celebration of the track, Spenda C is heading out around Australia and New Zealand bringing the Cult Shøtta boys in tow for a few shows too. Grab your tix for the Release Tour below.
